Crush My Calm - Volume One album
Volume One by CRUSH MY CALM, released 16 November 2001 1. Another Letter 2. What You Said In 2001 we released two 7"s at the same time on Dioxin City Productions, a short-lived label run by Patrick of Fear My Thoughts. Doing two 7"s at the same time rather than doing a double 7" or a 12"EP was meant as a tribute to Greyhouse, a great 90s emo band. These two songs were recorded when we were still called Blue Water Boy but not released until we changed our name to Crush My Calm
After the end of Blue Water Boy, a more emo-ish approach to hardcore, the band's members continued as Crush My Calm and played straight forward hardcore.
Volume One is the debut album by the American band Sleep. It was the only album recorded with original guitarist Justin Marler, before he became an Orthodox monk. Volume One showcases a darker sound and stronger doom metal influence than Sleep's later work. The image featured on the cover is taken from the Salvador Dalí painting "Soft Self-Portrait with Fried Bacon". Al Cisneros - bass guitar, vocals. Matt Pike - electric guitar. Justin Marler - electric guitar. Chris Hakius - drums.
For all their budding, precocious talent, Sleep's 1991 debut, Volume One, quickly betrays their still quite heavy debt to doom metal forefathers like Black Sabbath, Witchfinder, and Saint Vitus.

Before you go off to begin your story with Bold and Determined Volume One let me give you two steps. Step 1: Determination. Determination is what will get you through the hard times. It is also what will push you to the top when you start winning. Without determination I would’ve never quit my job and I wouldn’t be living life on my terms now. There is no way around this. You need determination to make your dreams come true. Juan says: September 30, 2017.
ESPECIALLY since this is your first time. If you wait for yourself to calm down, that day may never come. The longer you wait, the more "What if's" start to build up. Maybe, by the time you do calm down, he/she will have already fallen for someone else, who mustered up the courage to approach him/her before you did. Here's what you can do: 1. Take a breath. 5. -Optional- Maybe mention that you have seen them around quite often. Maybe compliment him/her.
But emo is having a moment in 2016 thanks to Panic! at the Disco scoring their first Number One album, Dashboard Confessional serving as the basis of a Jeopardy! question, and fourth wave emo bands like Title Fight and Into It. Over It. becoming the toast of music sites. Here are the best albums from the fragile genre where being sad makes everyone so, so happy. Coheed and Cambria, ‘Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness’ (2005). With the album, the band explored tighter hooks and benefitted from a tinge of bitterness that made Riot! a raucously dark, heartbroken LP.
