Chills, The - Heavenly Pop Hits album
Dum de dum dum Its a heavenly pop hit, Its something that we're humming as We swoop low on trees, or we sweep under carpets, We can dive into suns though its not recommended, We can hover, silent, and listen, closely. It all seems, (all seems) Larger than life to me, I find it, (find it) Hard to believe, So where was our home, Well, our home was in tears, For it's fruit has gone bad, They'd been that way for years Yet their lives are elsatic, They should be fantastic, They should be expanding. Dum de dum dum Dum de dum dum It's a heavenly pop hit, For anybody, For those that still want it. Категория.
Supplanting the earlier Kaleidoscope World as a singles overview of the band, from early days to cuts from Soft Bomb, Heavenly is a great starting point for any Chills newcomer. The opening three songs alone make this a winner - the title track, a shimmering pop gem, "I Love My Leather Jacket," a poppy Velvet kin' salute to deceased drummer Martyn Bull, and "Doledrums," a perverse celebration of collecting unemployment and killing time with a neat clock-chime opening.

Heavenly Pop Hit - This big, shiny, uced Chills video is still in keeping with the band’s low-key indie style. In majestic cliff-top scenery (Ireland stands in for New Zealand) Martin Phillipps looks like he is at the top of the world, and large rocks bounce across the screen like karaoke cues - perfect imagery to match the soaring sound of this classic pop song.
