Be-Bop Deluxe - Sunburst Finish album
Sunburst Finish is the third studio album by art rock band Be-Bop Deluxe, released in February 1976. It was recorded in Abbey Road Studios, London. The album contains what would become one of their few forays into chart success; the February 1976 single "Ships in the Night", which reached number 23 in the UK Singles Charts. Keyboardist Andy Clark, who had served as a temporary member during Be-Bop Deluxe's 1975 Futurama tour, joined the band as a full member for this album.
Sunburst Finish (LP, Album). this was a great japan mini lp style replica cd released back in 2008, the whole be bop deluxe catlog was released as japan mini lp sleeves and this is one title, this is the classic double live album and this cd gives you a few bonus tracks, this was one of the best double live albums of the 70s but sadly. very underrated in the us, anyway try to find the disc union box with all titles, the box has the best lp artwork for any be bop lp from the 70s SUNBURST FINISH, also i felt that was there best record. Adding keyboard player Andrew Clark to make Be Bop Deluxe a quartet, Bill Nelson finally found a balance between his virtuosic guitar playing and the demands of pop songwriting. The arrangements were still busy, but the humor of Nelson's music was on display as never before, and the songs frequently were catchy. For the first time, it began to seem that the group had a future beyond serving as a foundation for Nelson's splashy guitar work, as Be Bop Deluxe charted in the . and even scored a Top 25 British hit with "Ships in the Night.

Be-Bop Deluxe were an English progressive rock band who achieved critical acclaim and moderate commercial success during the mid to late 1970s. The band's sound emerged as a mixture of glam rock, prog rock and straightforward rock and roll. Science fiction imagery was common in the lyrics, along with the more traditional themes of love and the human condition.
Features an additional 17 bonus tracks drawn from a stunning new stereo mix from the original multi-track tapes by award winning engineer Stephen W. Tayler and previously unreleased out-takes from the album sessions. The set also features a booklet which restores the original album artwork and includes previously unseen photographs and an essay of recollections by Bill Nelson.
