Fleurety is a Norwegian avant-garde metal band. The band was formed in 1991 by Svein Egil Hatlevik and Alexander Nordgaren. The band released their first demo, Black Snow in 1993. After that came the 7" EP A Darker Shade of Evil in 1994, released via the English label Aesthetic Death Records. Both of these were in a fairly traditional Norwegian black metal style, although with very high-pitched screaming vocals, giving the band a characteristic sound.
Black Snow" is the debut demo by Norwegian black metal act Fleurety. The demo was released in 1993. The music is very primitive black metal with some very distinct sounding vocals. The high pitched squeals by Alexander Nordgaren is surely an aquired taste and if you ask me they are quite the challenge. A kind of bridge between the two heavy tracks.
Fleurety has the power to perform any labor during the night. He can also cause hail stones to fall in any place.
Their first demo, Black Snow, came out in 1993 and was followed the next year by a re-recorded 7" of the same material, this time entitled A Darker Shade of Evil. Their official full-length debut, Min Tid Skal Komme, came out in 1995 on the British Misanthropy Records label. This album was critically well received, but Fleurety did not release any new material over the next few years, though, due mainly to record label problems - Misanthropy dropped them for allegedly being "too weird," plus the duo ran into numerous delays with their new label, the smaller Supernal Music.
