Radio Years: 1937-1939 Broadcasts. This collection of recordings by Dick Jurgens & His Orchestra has 21 tracks taken from five different radio sessions recorded at the Hotel Peabody in Memphis and the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago (the latter including a Waltz Night and a 1938 New Year's Eve broadcast). The sound quality isn't bad for late-'30s material (the transcriptions were taken from LP), and Jurgens was one of the better commercial radio orchestras of the time. Highlights include the comedy feature "Three Little Fishes" and Eddy Howard's vocal on "I Get Along Without You Very Well.
