Black Tie White Noise. Duration: 1:02:00 Year: 1993. A selection of the best black music.
Black Tie White Noise is not the greatest album Bowie ever produced; many fans wouldn’t even consider it to be in his top ten. But it’s worth your time, if for no other reason than it is another in a series of records Bowie made to break himself out of his comfort zone, alongside Young Americans, Low, Let’s Dance, Heathen, and of course, Blackstar. It’s fascinating to witness the lengths the man went to for inspiration, repeatedly tearing down and rebuilding his career over the course of nearly five decades, and it’s rewarding to go along for the ride . Here's what you get: 1. The album itself, David Bowie's "Black Tie, White Noise" of 1993, his first solo album after ending Tin Machine and also a collaboration with Nile Rodgers (producer of Let's Dance) Is this album a Let's Dance II? Nah.
