RZA as Bobby Digital - Digital Bullet album
Digital Bullet is the second solo studio album by American hip hop artist RZA under his pseudonym Bobby Digital. The album was released on August 28, 2001. As a sequel to Bobby Digital in Stereo, the album focuses on an attempt to develop Bobby Digital further, and follows a loose story arc that focused on the character becoming more enlightened and more disillusioned with hedonism as the album progresses.
Bobby Digital in Stereo is the solo debut studio album by American hip hop recording artist and record producer RZA, of the hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan. It was released on November 24, 1998, and was certified Gold on February 5, 1999, by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Digital Bullet is RZA's second album under his latest alias, as Bobby Digital. It's no shock that he brought Bobby back; the first Digital outing, Bobby Digital in Stereo, was a high mark in the Wu Tang Clan producer's prolific career. What is a bit surprising is the sound of this effort, which frequently stretches all the way back to the mystical murk of the Clan's first album, Enter the Wu-Tang

RZA's lyrics feel like digital bullets sometimes cuz they're so intense. At the same time, towards the end of the album, RZA shows a vulnerable/wiser side that we never got on the debut album. It was a smart way to go. The reason I don't think this is a 5 star album is because this album is like 70 minutes and I don't think RZA needed to include some of the tracks that dragged the album. It could've been flawless but since this is how it was released, i took off a star. RZA returns as Bobby Digital again. At this point, n ggaz was like " When the F ck is he ganna release THE CURE under his RZA alias"? Well, they had to wait (still waiting). Bobby srarts strong with a nice song called "Show U Love" with a beat that sounds pretty similar to Ghostface Killah's "We Made It" from Supreme Clientele.
