Written By, Producer, Mixed By – Moritz von Oswald. Transport is everything people expected from Mortitz and Atkin's first wave of collaborations which left something desired. The 2LP landed on my door yesterday and has been in constant rotation. Every track is standout material.
The album - made up of 8 sequences, which seamlessly blend the styles of both masters - was recorded at the beginning of 2013 over various studio sessions in Berlin and will be released as a series of three 12"s and a CD album. Limited to 500 units, pressed on heavy vinyl and packed in hefty sleeves, the three part vinyl series, gathers all but one title present on the CD format.
The Detroit-Berlin axis triangulates to a third point which, like the atomic particle that lives in two places at once, flickers between a form of techno-charged ambience and a futuristic club-jazz which cannot be broken down into constitutive parts. Released by: Tresor Records. Album release date: 29 April 2016.

Overview (current section).
The fifth album from one of minimal techno's most critically acclaimed artists holds the familiar patterns of his earlier successes, songs slowly unfurling and relishing in the languid pace of running times that often pass 10 minutes. The warm, comparatively shorter comforts of "Soft Stream" and "Raise the Dead" allows them to become backing music to life's quieter moments. Chilean-American producer Nicolas Jaar crafts music more measured and deliberate than almost any of his peers, his dance singles and online mixes almost as famous for their crawling BPM and slowly unfurling dynamics as the music contained within. For his second proper album, Jaar tackles the issues of his two homes, Chile in the shadow of General Pinochet's junta and America in the dystopian present.
