El Dorado (As the mythical golden city "El Dorado") is the eleventh studio album by Colombian singer Shakira, released on 26 May 2017, by Sony Music Latin. The album is mainly sung in Spanish, with three songs in English. After her self-titled tenth studio album (2014), Shakira had her second child, suffered from writer's block and was uncertain about the future of her career.

El Dorado, arriving three years after a star-studded eponymous wannabe blockbuster, feels as if it exists on a much smaller scale than any of her previous albums, with the possible exception of the breezy Sale el Sol. Like that album, El Dorado sails by swiftly, but this 2017 record packs a lot of different moods in its 45 minutes.
