The chicken egg taste is so classic and ingrained that it's hard for that not to be the standard to which other eggs are compared. I do like the gelatinous feel of an ostrich egg for novelty. However, I suppose I grew up on the classic, so from a taste perspective, I like the chicken better, but that doesn't mean I'd want to exclude that novelty. I like ostrich eggs and I'd like to have them on occasion.
