Seven Nations is a Celtic rock band that formed in New York City in 1993. The name comes from the seven Celtic nations, including Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Brittany, Cornwall, the Isle of Man, and Galicia. The band tours extensively and has played in many diverse venues, from small bars to concert halls. They were previously known as Clan Na Gael, but lost that name due to a trademark dispute. At just that time, they got a huge sponsor, allowing them expanded notoriety.

For the "Seven Nations" album, "Skyezinha, The Egret" and "A Rare Auld Time" were dropped in favor of "Big Dog," "Under the Milky Way," and "Twelve. All songs that had appeared on the band's first three albums were newly recorded, and the only recording on these two albums that can be found elsewhere is "Twelve," which was taken from The Factory. Seven Nations is a Celtic rock band that formed in New York City, New York, in 1994 under the name Clan Na Gael.

Seven Nations creates straight pop/rock with extremely slick production values. Granted, the band does hit some high notes, such as on "Seeds of Life," where the melodies are woven together in a very tranquil fashion, but these moments are stripped from the mind at the snap of a finger. The band makes two attempts to break new territory in what could best be described as Celtic funk on "Scream" and "The Surprise Ceilidh Band Se. The second of the two tracks isn't so bad because Seven Nations comes into more of their own voice rather than echoing sentiments.

Seven Nation Army Lyrics: I'm gonna fight 'em off, A seven nation army couldn't hold me back, They're gonna rip it off, Taking their time right behind my back, And I'm talking to myself at night. Produced by Jack White. Seven Nation Army Lyrics. I'm gonna fight 'em off A seven nation army couldn't hold me back They're gonna rip it off Taking their time right behind my back And I'm talking to myself at night Because I can't forget Back and forth through my mind Behind a cigarette. And the message coming from my eyes Says "Leave it alone". He added: "I didn’t have lyrics for it until later on and I was just calling it ‘Seven Nation Army’ – that’s what I called the Salvation Army when I was a kid. So that was just a way for me to remember which one I was talking about, but it took on a new meaning with the lyrics. Seven Nation Army" Track Info.
