It often sounds as if Bowie is conducting chaos, smashing objects together to discover scarily beautiful new shapes. It often sounds as if Bowie is conducting chaos, smashing objects together to discover scarily beautiful new shapes.

The third album by Jack and Meg White was the right dynamite for a mainstream breakthrough. Jack’s Delta-roadhouse fantasies, Detroit-garage-rock razzle and busted-love lyricism, as well as Meg’s toy-thunder drumming all peaked at once. Winehouse, a tatted 23-year-old with a beehive crown, matched the spirit of her R&B heroes, cussing, cracking wise and casually breaking your heart. She triggered a new era for brilliantly weird women in pop. Load More.
Lyrics to ""Heroes"" song by David Bowie: I, I will be king And you, you will be queen Though nothing will drive them away We can beat them, . .This song, along with the entire album, was written in a cheap rented apartment in Berlin, where David Bowie decided to take a break from touring and have some rest from fame. David Bowie's vocal performance on this song was produced by placing three microphones at different distances away from him: 9 inches, 20 feet and 50 feet. The first was turned on for the quieter vocals, the second on the louder passages, and all three on the loudest parts. The guitar part on this track was played by Robert Fripp (King Crimson). The first music video for this song aired on "Bing Crosby's Merrie Olde Christmas" special in 1977 where David Bowie also sang a duet mashup with Crosby titled "The Little Drummer Boy/Peace On Earth".
