Fresh Hair 1971 - So Sing The Children On The Avenue album
Sing Children Sing Come into the light right now And sing. Don't you know about the child catcher Throw you in a cage much faster Than your slowly changing childhood days have gone away. Don't you know about the ogre man He will come and take you by the hand He will eat you just where you stand And you're gone away. So sing children sing Come into the light right now And sing. Have you heard about Uncle Sam He will always make a stand Come and free you and take command And then stay.
The Children Sing Lyrics. chorus) Don't take this, don't take this world away from me Don't take this world away from me Don't take this, don't take this world away from me Don't take this, don't take this world away The future decides the roles we play The struggles to sell the past away The after thought is staring back. on better days Cause our daughters and sons will live to pay Through every mistake that we have made Through every conviction we've betrayed So let the children sing. chorus) Don't take this, don't take.
Sing Children Sing" is Lesley Duncan's first album and, in my opinion, her best together with Everything Changes (how long until this will be reprinted on CD?) I got to know Lesley because she took part in the backing vocals on Elton's early records; her angelic and warm voice can also be heard on the last track of side A of "The Dark Side of the Moon". With Sing Children Sing Lesley is more than just a vocalist; this album reveals a mature solo singer songwriter.
On the Avenue is the third studio album by American organist Ronnie Foster recorded in 1974 and released on the Blue Note label.
Don't take this Don't take the world away from me. Can we find a way To face today With an eye on the things to come Cause mistakes we've made Bring our decay And our chance to make a difference will be gone So this is the price they'll pay For living in our remains Just listen as the children sing. Lyrics taken from /lyrics/s/story of the year/the children sing. Write about your feelings and thoughts about The Children Sing. Know what this song is about? Does it mean anything special hidden between the lines to you?
Our Action Song introduces the English verbs clap, stomp, swing, dance, sing, jump, touch, and shake. During the verses, our robot and the little chicks present a funky choreography on the dance floor, following the dance instructions (the actions) of the song. The chorus is simple – this is the time when the kids can just relax and dance however they want! On the screen, Mother Hen and the band are singing their hearts out, while the chicks sing along, showing off their individual dance moves. Chorus) Naa, naa, naa I’m so happy Oh, so happy Dance/Sing with.
