Album: Station To Station (1976). Charted: 33 64. Get the Sheet Music License This Song. Sylvia from St. Charles, Ildoes anyone know what "tvc 15" is? is it a tv channel in Britain or perhaps Germany? I first heard this song when I bought the hero's album back in 1976, but it didn't do anything for me then. I again heard it when I bought the live aid dvd and it aroused my curiousity. Like most of Bowie's songs it's difficult to understand.

TVC 15" is a song written and recorded by David Bowie in 1975 and released in 1976. The track was inspired by an episode in which Iggy Pop, during a drug-fuelled period at Bowie’s LA home, hallucinated and believed the television set was swallowing his girlfriend

Stage is David Bowie's second live album, recorded on the Isolar II Tour, and released by RCA Records in 1978. Though it was rumouredat the time that this would be his final outing with the label, following dissatisfaction over the promotion of Low and "Heroes", Bowie remained with RCA until 1982.
