Lied Des Teufels / Hanuman - Lied Des Teufels / Hanuman album
Hanuman, Lied Des Teufels biography Formed in Berlin, Germany in 1971 - Renamed to "Lied Des Teufels" in 1972 - Disbanded in 1975. Early 70's krautrock band from Berlin, Hanuman was formed by Peter Barth (flute, sax, vocals), Jrg Hahnfeld (bass), Thomas Holm (drums) and Wolf-Rdiger Uhlig (organ, piano, vocals). After Hanuman released their one and only unique Krautrock album in 1971, the crowded world of the burgeoning progressive rock scene in Germany didn't exactly open up for them and with the lackluster response of their very good album came the first hemorrhaging of band members.

They named themselves after the closing track on the Hanuman album. ンバー: Jörg Hahnfeld, Peer Forsberg, Peter Barth, Ralf Schultze, Thomas Holm (2).
Teufels and Hanuman was released on CD and the 2nd lied Des Teufels was released only on LP. The first and Hanuman was more progressive but the 2nd was more Rock, quite similar to Floh De Cologne.
Lied des Teufels (songs of the devil) was a post MURPHY BLEND and HANUMAN outfit, that recorded this excellent German progressive Krautrock album on the KUCKUCK label in 1973. The lyrics are strongly politically and socially engaged, while it is musically very similar to the first two OUT OF FOCUS albums. This album, is a perfect example of the early 70s German progressive Krautrock scene and should be part of every serious 70s progressive rock collection. A1 Wenn Du Fragst 0:00.
