Alex Reece - So Far album
Alex Reece – So Far. Label: 4th & Broadway – BRCD 621, 4th & Broadway – 524 265-2. Country: UK & Europe. Smooth rhythms and a crisp fresh sound that makes it essential. His new project Fallen Angels 21 hasn't been able to follow the quality of this album, but that isn't an easy task either. Reply Notify me 6 Helpful.
Acid Lab," on the other hand, puts more of a tech spin on things, and "Pulp Friction," in particular, has a growling bass to accompany the horn flourishes, but it's certainly the darkest track here.
So Far (Cass, Album). Even its name oozes the summery feel that this track contains by the bucket load. Alex Reece, has clearly brought his House music influences and its obvious connections with Ibiza into this tune, with bouncy two-stepping beats and a catchy synth riff - simple but very, very effective, especially at the breakdown, midway, with just the riff playing. Sounds best when played on a hot summers day with the car windows down while cruising along the motorway, preferably going somewhere nice!
While still retaining shadows of the Peter Gabriel-era GENESIS, Alex and the band have moved more into their own sound, with a more rock edge to it as compared to the jazzy-tinge that the four epic-length songs from 4 Destinies had. Plus the 10 songs here all fall within a two- to seven-minute time range and each carry their distinct flavors-even though this is a concept album.
Alex Reece (born Alexander Reece, Barnet, England) is a drum and bass artist. He popularized the use of two-step breaks in drum and bass, and was an influence of the jazzstep sound, a mix of drum and bass and jazz. Reece was one of the musicians in the Metalheadz collective, and has also worked under the pseudonym of Fallen Angels. Although he was most interested in acid house and early Detroit techno, Reece came to prominence in the mid-1990s as a jungle star. Reece began DJing in the late 1980s

Shipping as a gold record and peaking at on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart, it was the band's third chart-topping album in a row. It has been certified six times platinum by the RIAA, and is the second best-selling album by any configuration of the quartet in tandem after their 1970 studio album, Déjà Vu.
I wonder how my life would be If I had grown up by the sea And lived a little I wonder if my heart could grow If the only love I know Was all I needed. Sometimes I wish that I Could fly away from here ‘Cause what if it all goes wrong? Would it be bad if I drove too far And forgot my way around? Maybe my worry would disappear If I’m nowhere to be found So maybe I’ll drive too far. I wonder how my voice would sound If it was in the background No one heard it I wonder how it feels to speak Still be heard without the need To be the loudest.
Krell is informed by genre but driven by expression; in his mind, pop music is anything that aspires for the most immediate and impactful connection, even if it risks embarrassment in the process. As a result, his transcendent third LP "What Is This Heart?" is a pop album of the highest caliber. com, they've put out around 40 releases in just four years, most of them CDRs and cassettes. There are variations of mood and intensity, and each major release has its own particular signature, owing in part to changes in gear and technique, and in part to being a band that improvises and records non-stop. Any given album feels like a snapshot of the band in time.
