NO1R - Are Stars EP album
The Raconteurs' new album, Help Us Stranger, is the group’s first in 11 years, and comes via Jack White’s own imprint Third Man Records. According to HDD, the project has been buoyed by strong indie sales as well as copies bundled with tickets to the group’s extensive 2019 US tour. Ticket and merch bundles that include digital copies of an album have become an integral (if controversial) way for artists to drum up first-week sales. Khaled was reportedly furious about missing out on No. 1, and the CEO of Roc Nation (which manages Khaled) called on Billboard to eliminate album bundling. Music consumption is the only true metric that should matter, said Desiree Perez. Bundling devalues the art and is demeaning to the artists. It needs to go, and we are urging Billboard to take that step as soon as possible.
While there’s no right or wrong answer as different music release strategies work well for different aims, here is a plan I’ve seen work well for many independent artists. Why this strategy works. Before you start focusing on putting this strategy into practice, it helps to be aware of why it works and what you’re trying to accomplish with your music release. If you record enough tunes for an EP, album, or mixtape and release all at once, you are putting all you eggs in one basket, you have shot your wadd. You have nothing left, no more ammo. Getting behind each tune as a single release and promoting each strongly will get more buzz and have more impact per tune/track/buick$ than releasing them all at once on a CD, EP, or mixtape.
ships out within 3 days. Purchasable with gift card. Morphic Resonance is about loosing yourself completely on the dancefloor. It's impossible to resist the juicy beats and driving synths, and not jump around like a maniac! Then there are those trippy melodies and mean acidlines to twist your mind and break your sanity I find the tracks overall very powerful and an hommage to the rawness of early goa trance sound.
The album is the first comedy set to top the chart since 1963, and logs the largest sales week for a comedy album since 1994. The previous week's leader, Jay Z's "Magna Cart. oly Grail,"fell to No. 2 with 77,000 (down 40 percent).
